I just ran through Return of the Witch Lord with an all Female Team of Barbarian, Druid, Dwarf and Elf. Although I kinda miss the Wizard the Druid had little issue adapting in taking over the Wizard's roll in Quest 6.
Anyhow I thought I'd just report the only bug's I've found were missing doors in The Last Gate and Court of the Witch Lord.
In Last Gate once you start through the iron door the heroes have a choice to go through the Northeast quadrant and the Southeast quadrant, which inevitably leads to Kassandra, however the Southeast door is missing from the quest map. I'm pretty sure this was just an error otherwise the heroes would have to go all the way around through the Northeast Quadrant, fight through the Dread Warriors, through the trap filled middle room and go through the secret door to fight Cassandra.
In Court of the Witch Lord the missing door on the Quest map is much more serious: there should be two doors out of the starting room with the Spiral Staircase; one goes to the northern hallway to which is essentially a trapped dead-end; the other goes into the Western hallway, towards the direction needed to go to complete the quest. However this western door is missing from the quest map. Luckily we have the old maps to guide us through.
The rest of the quest book is fairly accurate and the only complaint I have is in Quest 8 Forbidden Caverns, this quest is much too long because of an endless supply of monsters respawning on every turn. I can say the potion of Battle Rage will give you the biggest bang for your buck in this quest. Heroes are virtually attacking on every turn with very little downtime to search. The Western Hall was full of undead, Barbra managed to clear them out after several turns with a Potion of Battle Rage, leaving Galadreil to explore around with Pass Through Rock and Drew searching the side rooms while the Dwarf (Penny) covered the rear. It took a very long time for the heroes to beat through the undead here. Some suggestions on how to speed it up would be a good discussion.
