So I got to meet Stephen Baker, he's a really nice guy. He's working on a new game entitled "Where Heroes Dare," which was supposed to come out in October, but it looks like it's been moved to March 2025. It's HeroQuest like, a little more advanced but not as complex as D&D.
I did get to ask about Prophecy of Telor and the closing section about the dark clouds. He said he just likes leaving the ending openended for later quests, which is why Zargon is never completely defeated.
He also mentioned submitting other quest packs to Hasbro, but either they're just sitting on those for later or only wanted 1 with his name on it.
He's intending to send me and the 3 other players an Email to survey the game. I told him I wouldn't post his Email as he could potentially be bombarded by unwanted Emails. But I asked about maybe doing an interview in the future, which he said he'd be open to. He knows about the inn and would like to offer feedback for some questions.
Rob, the host of Dungeons of Hope was also present and offered me a position as Zargon. I said living in NY might complicate things on that front, but he insisted saying they need experienced Zargon's and I don't need to travel until the actual date.
Furthermore I was able to get Stephen Baker's autograph, one for me and one on an instruction booklet I'm still willing to send out. I feel bad for not being able to follow through after the last Dungeons of Hope I attended.
