[b][u]TREASURE DECK[/u][/b]
I've been working with a gentleman who goes by Blazbaros on deviantART [url]https://www.deviantart.com/blazbaros[/url] for a long time. He's done work for me personally and professionally. Currently he is doing the principle artwork for the new treasure deck. In keeping with the aesthetic of the original game, the art will be kept monochrome with light depth/shading, and the card back will be full color. Once Blaz is done I'll go in and finish it all for production via TheGameCrafter. I won't be able to sell the physical card set, but I can share a printable PDF here for free.

The wording on the cards has been reworked as well (for the same reasons I commissioned new art). I will post the list tomorrow night (I'm at work atm).

To cut back on the cost of art, and to introduce Magic Items (aka Artifacts) into the mix, I created single Potion! and Magic Item! cards that produce randomized results when cashed in. The "default" potion table rolls on a d20 to determine what is found, and will be included in the deck as an insert. I still haven't written the Magic Items insert yet, but it will be populated by the existing (lesser) Artifacts and expansion items (ie Elven Cloak of Passage). The wording on the cards themselves don't specify a die size however, it just says it's an "unknown potion/item." This lets end users create their own tables in the event they aren't happy with the inserts. Heros can drink potions anyway (with random results) or wait until they get back to town to have them identified. Magic Items are a little different in that you [i]must[/i] have them identified before you can use them. Making trips back to town mid-quest is not uncommon, so this shouldn't be much of a problem.

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now, but it's about time I actually introduced myself.

Hello, you can call me Girot. I've been a fan of the game since it came out and have recently had the opportunity to introduce my son to it. Even got my wife to play, and we had a hell of a good time.

I've been slowly consolidating all of the expanded material into a single game, and fleshing it out a bit where it needs it. Magic is getting a complete overhaul, lol. I've got a nice mixture of classic and Reaper minis, and just got in a shipment of Zealot Miniatures doors/tiles/etc.

Since the expansions are such a pain to find, I am in the process of completely recreating a comprehensive treasure deck. I've got new art in the works, so as to make them IP friendly, and plan on having them professional printed. Same thing with the various trap/hazard tiles.

Lastly, I would like to do an original remix of the board itself. I see a lot of resized prints out there, so while I'm in photoshop dealing with that, I want to freshen up the graphics a little.

If all goes well, I should get to show off a good looking table by Christmas!
