Not sure whether the is the best place for painting tips (don't do any myself) but it's definitely the best place for HQ lovers, welcome. |_P

|_P Welcome and have a brew!
Nothing wrong with badly painted minis. You can grab them with your cheese fingers and have fun.

Hi There!

My name is David and after the best part of 2 decades ive (nearly) got a complete Hero Quest setup (basic game, not expantions).

I used to play Hero Quest BITD with my friend Niall and his brother but I never had the game myself, I did pick up half a set from a carboot but nerver had the full setup.
With my part set I did some basic painting with some crappy oil based model paints from the post office.... they looked terrible but it planted the seed for my passion!
Fast forward 20 years and some late night ebaying and ive nearly completed the basic starter game, just a few goblins and Skeletons and im there!

Looking forward to moving forward with my collection and getting some painting tips and this looks like the best place to be!

David
