Attaching images is possible once you have made 14 usefull posts on the forum (12 to go). But you can always use photobucket.com to upload pictures and then paste links here.
For setting up a simple blog I suggest blogger, or if you want a slightly more advanced blog with static pages, try wordpress. It has more options, but requires a host to put your files. Blogger doesn't. Just google and do a little researh, pick whatever you feel comfortable with and suits your needs.

Thanks very much for the help - the download worked just fine. A couple of things, I used to own a bookstore, I'm an artist both drawn and digital, and I used to create advanced chess-style games that required hard boards. I think some of these skills could be useful to you, so if there are any particular boards you want I can make them up either as print-outs or perhaps even suggest how we go about making hard board versions. I will also need to set up a website or something to host the photos of my miniatures and character sheets etc since there doesn't appear to be anywhere to upload them, on here? Thanks again, my son and I are playing HQ and both enjoying it greatly. Will be in touch.

Also, if you're looking for a version of the quest that looks more like the North American quests, Phoenix has recreated it here on his website: http://heroquestbyphoenix.yeoldeinn.com ... nloads.php
http://heroquestbyphoenix.yeoldeinn.com/quests/Maze.pdf

He's got a bunch of really nice-looking quests. I've downloaded a ton from his site. :)

And nice to meet you!

Introduction & Question

Post by Kris2013 » April 16th, 2013, 5:42 pm

Hi guys and girls. I've been playing HQ since I was about 14. As I got older I passed it to my oldest son who was delighted and used the pieces for his D&D. Now even older (33) my youngest son has inherited the set and is anxious to play. I'm looking for The Maze booklet so I can start him on trials. This game was my life for many years - I made thousands of new tiles, painted all my figurines and saved and bought 2 additional board games so that I would have bits and piecse for the largest dungeons I could think of. I made about a dozen new characters, added all sorts of new rules - and its with great pleasure that I pass all that potential fun onto my son - but I can't find The Maze pdf online that isn't in a Rar format. Sourceforge is not responding to requests to download rar cracks so can someone please help me by emailing or showing me where to find a scanned pdf of The Maze please?

PS - if interested, happy to send photos of my painted minatures, share character sheets, etc to help expand this site. Thank you in advance, Kris.
