the barbarian is larger than the HQ barbarian. notably but not crazy huge. I have both and can post a pic sometime but am a total novice to online picture posting so would need a guide how to do it.

They are a little bit bigger and have less melon sized heads than HQ. They are quite compatible! It is just not the eighties style.

Here you go. He is slightly bigger, but then he is bigger compared to the other Conan Heroes, than the HQ Barbarian is compared to the other HQ Heroes. So the other Conan Heroes are the right size I would say. Crap blurry pic sorry, but you get the idea.

Thanks guys. I have an option to buy the game for €45. Not interested in the game itself but maybe the figures.

Do it. Nice character figures inside, the game itself is also good. The mass models are... well, mass models.

If you are interested just in other barbarians and not specifically in that Conan figure you may have a look at old Citadel models re-released recently by Wargames-Foundry (ex Citadel staff).
Here is a link to the barbarian set they have for sale: https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collect ... hop-models
Be sue to check the WA007 and WA008 sets.
Also they are offering Christmas discounts!

And below there is a comparison pic.
I just put the HQ barbarian on a tile because his base is thinner than the standard slotta base (my barbarian is the old version, taken from Dungeonquest), but the WF models are now released with a rounded metal base but you can use a tool to remove it and file it because it is very thin and then attach the figure on a HQ-style base.
