What's the best way to post homebrew stuff?

Postby DullandRusty » July 13th, 2019, 10:09 pm

Hey all, FINALLY finished a boatload of homebrew cards, herocards and stuff. I originally did most of them in the traditional hq art style, but then redid them all in a more modern style. I was figuring on posting both. There are well over 100 cards (maybe closer to 250 to 300 and double if i post both styles). What is the best way to post them? And i'm very new to posting, so if you have a mehod, if you can give steps how to do it, that would be great! Thanks all

I'll get them up sometime this week when i have a chance and figure out how to do so. I might just have to learn how to use drop box for the large amount. I have all the psd files for photoshop as well. I figure, as they are homebrew, incuding new heroes, some oeople will like the stuff, some will hate it, but with the large quantity, there may be something everyone finds fun or useful to add in.

Had it been just a few pieces of content I would have recommended hosting it on a webpage and then image-linking them here. The best way to get people to see your content is to make it actually visually appear on this forum.
But with so much content, I think the best way is to just convert it to pdf-files, again, upload it to another webpage, and then link those files here for people to dwonload.
Final option is to just throw everything into a compressed file and then link said file.

You could upload them all to Google Drive and create a link that all can access (similar to DropBox). If you want to showcase, you might try using a DIY website like Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, WordPress.org, but it would cost hosting probably. I'm not sure if some internet companies still give you a free website with your subscription--worth looking into.
You could also just use an Instagram / Twitter and post them there.
