Best way to print custom cards with professional printer?

Postby Ricky Chops » January 2nd, 2019, 1:46 pm

Hey everyone!

I've been perusing the forum the last month and half after getting back into the game after 25 years (lol) and eventually I want to print custom cards to supplement the existing content. I'm considering taking the cards to a FedEx/Kinkos in my local area. My goal is to print custom cards that look and feel exactly like the ones from the game system, however, I'm not sure how the layout in Photoshop should look or what the image sizes should be.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are actually online card printers that people have used in the past. I haven't used any of them yet, so I'm not sure who they are. I know that people seemed to be really happy with the results in most of the posts I read about them. I'd do a search on here for online card printing to see what pops up.

Printerstudio works internationally. Very good quality although the original HQ card size is not available.

I was actually planning on using printer studio to print cards. Aren't the HQ cards just bridge card sized (as opposed to poker card sized)?

No, they aren't. HQ card size is right inbetween everything.

Just choose one card size and print all of them... I chose zombicide card size, it works for me.

Hmm... was there different sized cards in different regional releases or did the set I buy off ebay have counterfeit cards...
My cards are 56mm x 88.9mm, the exact dimensions of bridge cards. I just measured them again to make sure.

Hmm, interesting. Would you mind measuring them?
