No. 40mm? No.

I can make 30mm and 25mm roughly compatible but 40mm is too big for me. I always told my wife that those fantasy games have the advantage that all the minis are mutually compatible.

Actually, from their FAQ: Humans are 32mm at eye level.

So that'd be the normal Heroic scale, right?

32mm to the human eye is what is called the 32mm scale.
"Heroic" scale has little to do with height, but with height/width/features proportions.
HQ and traditional Citadel minis are heroic scale, most contemporary minis are not.

Im really hoping to see them get to dwarves for stretch goals. The rats dont interest me much but dwarves would. Plus the orc minis look great. Much bigger than hq orcs but orcs always seemed like they should be bigger than humans in my mind which these would be.

Hmm the dwarves look pretty tall though. Estimating around 31mm to top of the head from their picture wiht the measuring stick. Anyone know how tall the hq dwarf is to top of head?

I dunno but I'm adding them. Not gonna mix and match minis between different games anyway.

Well that's different here. I use painted models wherever possible so I like to mix and match every game with every game.

I took a look at the Kickstarter and it looks convincing. I just backed and then I will see if I keep the minis or if I sell them like I did for Darklight.

Darklight was, like, the main price in a lottery. Apart that the minis have the complete wrong scale, it is like Warhammer Quest has finally come back. Love it.

So I sold those wrong-ish minis which paid roughly the same price like the Kickstarter was costing and now I use the game with my Heroquest minis.
