I've been working on a HeroQuest video game (using UE4) (I'm a software engineer). For now it's a HeroQuest board game simulation with one player vs. AI.

Here's some notes on categories of work that need to be done:
> Game Programmer: you don't necessarily need to know UE4 (or C++ or Blueprints), but obviously you need to be motivated and competent at programming. Generalist. Game logic. AI. User Interface. Game menus. Effects. Media.
> 3D Modeling: we're using 3d scans for heroes/monsters and custom models for furniture (more work needed). That's for nostalgia (authentic simulation) mode. Beyond that we could also create assets for a visual mode that's more detailed, or a visual mode that's animated. We also need (a) 3d background room(s).
> UI Artist: for all platforms (PC, console, tablet, VR). Artist or Artist-Programmer
> Effects Artist: fancier effects eg with spells, traps, combat. UE4
> Sound (and Music): maybe someone who wants to focus on high quality sound effects, possibly background music or ambient noise.
