Has anyone tried these replacement dice from shapeways? They look interesting, but hard to tell if the quality is there.

I plan on buying some eventually. They appear to be of quality and for the price they should be.

I was thinking about getting one of the extra fine detailed ones at around $10 a piece. Get one and see if I like it. The pictures of the regular detail look a little rough.

I would recommend the "Polished Plastic" material. The "White Strong and Flexible" is rather rough will feel weird for a die.
Also, the basic form of the die looks a bit "un-round". Seems to be a low-poly model.
I could probably make a better one (if the look of an original die is what you want).
Have a look ;)

having the faces carved in so deep will change the results of rolling. They won't be randumb anymore.

Been away for long, totally off the subject, but could someone tell me why has el flesh been exiled? :bites-lip: :bites-lip:

Oh man! I didn't even notice as I didn't have any interest in that topic!
I can't help but be amused that "science" of all things is a forbidden topic.

Okay, thanks. I've seen these "polite conversations" before, so probably will take a peek only if even that. Don't have much interest to be honest :p
