GimmeYerGold - did you ever do a vinyl wrap of the case with the HeroQuest artwork? I'd be curious as to how others have jazzed-up the case in addition to what Whitebeard did with the sticker for each quest (also a great idea!)

@JCool I just started adding a couple of stickers to it, from indie artists who do dungeon/monster artwork.

I do want to print the original box art on a vinyl sticker and add that.

Do you guys have anything special you use to carry the gameboard? I also have the Dragon Strike gameboards that I intend to use for some upcoming quests. Any ideas?

Not really any great ideas for the board. Me personally, I reprinted the board with 30mm squares, so my board will not fit in ANYTHING. Also note that the DMs screen wont fit either. The chest has a handle so you can carry it with one hand an tuck the board under your arm. If you play with a modular board, then you are in luck.

This looks like a great case. Mine is stacked in 3 game boxes (bottoms and tops - so stacked 6 high). Need a much better solution. Would look even better with the HQ logo and my name engraved on the top. Just sayin'...

I've also had a plan of doing wooden boxes for all the expansions, that I can fit nicely into a big wooden chest. Probably never will get it done though

I'd just like to note for anyone thinking about getting one … As of April 2021, Harbor Freight still has these for about US$80.

I think I still want something lighter because I kinda don't … car … so if I am carrying it anywhere, I'm gonna need foam inserts and a back brace.Ideal for me would be a coroplast type box … essentially like an iMac box containing trays with foam to keep things from rattling around and getting damaged. It wouldn't be hard to get the board into such a box, but I intend the board I would actually ever be moving to come in six pieces anyway. The old non-trapezoidal 21" or 24" iMac box should be about perfectly sized to hold the bits of literally every expansion plus the base game.
