Milliput is also useful. Use the regular grey/yellow stuff.

Keep a very small cup with water handy and dip your fingers or tha sculpting tool with the stuff you're working on into it to keep it from getting sticky.
Knead it until it has a consistent green color (greyish yellow in Milliput's case), then work it in.
If you fill in holes you might have to do it in layers because it shrinks slightly while curing.
There's not much to it, the learning curve while doing is pretty steep.

About 30 mins at full workability, another 30 mins it gets harder, and less eay to work, it then takes 24-48 hours to fully cure.

Just getting started and getting a feel for things. Here is a mock up with polymer clay...this really makes you have some respect for the pros and how much detail they can put into these tiny little pieces of art
