That's cool, what is it like a sinkhole or warp room?

Correct. A fairly easy one to do as no walls are needed. I had an old part used tubb of artex, which came in handy for texturing the fire pit. I hope i can pull off a decent paint job to make the pit pop out.

I didn't want to assume it was The Pit of Chaos. That's what it looked like at first but for all I knew you could of been doing something completely different.

Are you planning on painting it?

I am curious how you dug out that middle part evenly . I am having trouble digging out even patches in foam

If my understanding is correct, the middle part is not dug out evenly. It is filled smooth and textured with Artex. The actual hole may be quite rough.

The tiles are glued onto 6mm MDF. So no hole was dug. The centre was left bare MDF which i artexed directly onto. Heres the painted result.

Currently im working on a 3d version of the forge tile.

Then i’ll move onto the outdoor tile from Return of the Ogre Hoarde.
