Recent miniature haul from around the holidays:

Now that we're into the new year, it's time to start rebasing and painting.

I didn't realize until I got them that the minotaurs are far larger than the ogres. They are about the same size as the BattleMasters ogre, though, which is perfect. I wasn't sure I wanted to use the BM ogre since he was so much bigger than the others, but having other monsters the same size is helpful!

Now I just need to find someone with a scanner and some skills who can scale up and 3d print out the DragonStrike giant at comparably large size so that mini will make more sense with the others.

Instead I've always seen the BattleMaster Ogre as a "Ogre Giant", a super tough Ogre!
As for the DragonStrike giant I think that mini has a lack of details, I think it will be better to ask someone to sculpt a new one in 3D and then print it.

LOL I was using the same paints a few weeks ago and the same thing happened. Specks of paint all over my trousers and the conservatory floor. The trousers have now been downgraded to DIY clothes.

Thanks for the laugh this morning, I've had that happen to me before but not ever that bad.

@ Anderas: This made me smile, because almost the exact same thing happened to me a couple of days ago, albeit with white instead of red. Almost all of it landed on my palette, however -- could have ended up much, much worse.

That being said, the effect does look pretty cool in red! Khorne is pleased! ;) :gargoyle:
