Spanish HQ Battle Board (New Boards)

Hello everybody!
I recently got inspired by Sjengs pictures on his photobucket where I saw a spanish fanmade "outside area" board for heroquest.

Does anyone have a pdf or link to that board or could point me in the right direction, I would love to print it!

It’s at the bottom. At the moment the Inn is being tempremental with the gallery so I can’t link directly to it. Keep trying periodically over the next couple days and I’m sure you’ll eventually get past the 503 error.

For what it’s worth, I made a vinyl board out of that. It’s a terrible map. If you’re looking for a nice new battle map check out Heroic maps. They’ve got a map for any HQ idea you can think of.

If you’re absolutely set on that map you can buy it already printed from a guy off eBay. It’s abiut the same price as if you print it yourself. Look at his listing and you can see some close up detail of the image. It’s worth a look before you invest too much time or money in that particular image.

I gonna check it out once the 503 error is gone. I kinda like the style of this board. I feel like I gonna print out and build a few add on boards anyway to build a more immersive world.

Thank you for the tip with the heroic maps. Funny enough I ve found this website drivethrurpg.com yesterday and already bought one of their maps! I got the "trip and trap Inn" and printed it out today. I wanna use it as a starting board for HQ adventures, to set the mood and get a story going. It really stirs up the imagination, the quality is amazing.

The selection they have makes me think of many ways to enhance heroquest and build a world around it. I still wanna use the original board mainly but man I am already thinking of building sidemissions with these maps!

My issue with HeroicMaps is you can't order hard copies.

Its was a tiny bit crafting...I just printed it out on thick cardboard, went to an artstore, got a very thin board/canvas, sprayed it black and glued it on there.

I would imagine that to be a no-win scenario for them. They’d have to stock the items and sell them, not everyone is going to like what matierial and/or grid size they’d choose. The price point would be hard to properly gauge.

If you would seriously like to have something of theirs made physical I’d be more than happy to point out places that could do it in a variety of material choices and what ever grid size you would want (or no grid, they have those too.)

Personally, I use their gridded jpegs, I put them on vinyl, I have the grid sized to 10=1ft.

clmckay, what kind of vinyl do you use and where do you get it from? Sounds perfect, better than my heavy first attempt!

If you want tiles that are the same size as HQs then this would be your best bet:

I think HQs original size was 1 inch, if so you would just have it sized as 1square = 1 inch.

These are the same thickness and you can have it double sided.
