StratosVX's Heroscribe thread

I've started this thread to centralize my work with Heroscribe. I've added a few map files I've edited over the past several weeks to my Heroscribe folder. The ones I uploaded are all free maps by Heroic Maps. There are still more on my list to make and I'll update here when I get more done. If anybody has any requests for maps to be added to Heroscribe, just post them here and I'll be happy to work on them as I get time.

Awesome idea.
Do you also do icons? Or could someone else make them for you to import them? I have nothing in my frontal lobes right now, I'm just asking for the future.

EDIT: Actually, I do have a request now. Mitchiemasha, could you send StratosVX a link to your awesome quest maps/books? I'd really love the option to use your tiles in HeroScribe.

Stratos' Heroscribe version contains our new HQ25 icons.
If you want an icon, just send me the png in a reasonable resolution, I prepare them and then Stratos can add them YeOldeInn centrally.

As of right now, I'd say Anderas is the icon person. I can do maps. As I've said, I'd like to update Heroscribe at some point and importing icons is a feature I'd like to implement (as well as map creation) but that's still in the distant future.

Added Heroic Maps: Shrine of the Bronze Dagger to the folder. Also, all files for Heroic Maps start with 'hm'

Could somebody please add the number zero (0) and include a hyphen/dash (-)?

Here are the dash and zero icons you requested. These are also included in the HQ25 all in one pack that is here. Big thanks to Anderas for making it possible for us to add icons again.

EDIT - Dumb question but where do the files go in HeroScribe? I only downloaded the zero and hyphen file.

Not a dumb question. When you open the zip file, you will have 4 things: Objects.xml, and three folders named Raster, Sample and Vector. Copy the contents of the Objects.xml into the Objects.xml file that is in your Heroscribe folder. Inside your Heroscribe folder you have an Icons folder. When you go into the Icons folder, you will see three folders named Raster, Sample, and Vector. The files inside the folders from my zip file go into these folders in the same structure. Meaning, go into my Raster folder, then Europe, then YeOldeInn. Copy the files that are in this folder, then go into your Heroscribe Icons folder. Go into the Raster folder, then Europe, then (if you have it) YeOldeInn. Paste the files into this folder. If you don't have the YeOldeInn folder, then make one, but make sure it is named EXACTLY as the folder in my zip file. If your Heroscribe folder does not have the YeOldeInn folder, you can just move the one from my zip file over to your Heroscribe folder. If you try doing this and you already have the YeOldeInn folder, you'll end up overwriting the folder and losing the icons that you already had in there. This will also prevent Heroscribe from opening again as it won't be able to find the icons that would have been deleted. Copy all files in all folders this same way. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. I've realized for a while now that I need to get something written up explaining how to add icons/boards to your Heroscribe folder and have them work, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
