You all HAVE to check this out. I started out looking for some cut-out 3D trees.
Ran across this set - Dragonshire and E-Z Dungeon cut out terrains.

These things look amazing. And not real expensive, considering what you get with some of the sets.

The owner of Fat Dragon Games is a turd. He blocked me on facebook for literally not entertaining him enough. I considered that rude (without so much as a warning) and he went on my "asses to kick" list for conventions until he supported a friend of mine's KS and I forgave him.

Yup, those are pretty cool, but I try to steer clear of papercraft. I suck at it, looks bad, breaks easily, needs lots of storage room. I lack skill and space.

But they do look good when put together well. They also have a cool dice tower.

Yeah, I'm all into sculpted furniture etc. but for being pure papercraft they actually look very cool.

Well, I look at this stuff from the cost point of view. Especially when they go on sale...and then
find a quick and cheap way to print them off. Being that I game very little, cheap terrain and
scenery is just about the only way to for me.

Papercrap is prohibitively expensive. It always gets ruined. You can figure in a cost of around $1 a page for full-color printing once you've done it, and yours won't be the same quality as the presentation photos, and Tom (the owner) has an industrial printer that he uses and a cutting-machine. You're being bamboozled. Papercrap is the devil.

CP - not questioning the validity of your claim...which, by the way, thank you for.
But, I was wondering if you have, or know of a way to get a a hold of, some pics of
some paper terrain or such that someone did at home, just so I can see how different
it might look from what is shown on the website there. I certainly would not want to
waste money if it is going to look completely horrible.

Nope, and you won't find any easily. People don't take pictures of the *lemony goodness* they don't want to show off. I know Fat Dragon has a policy of erasing posts in their forums that question their greatness.

If you think you'll like it put it an a wait list of 3-6 months and think about it. Then if you still want spend a minor ammount of money on it. Once you get it test it out and wait for any 'honeymoon' period to wear off that way you can have time to truly evaluate how you feel about it. Once that's done then if you like it you can spend more money or pass on it. Nothing worse than spending a lot of money up front only to realize later on you don't feel it's worth it anymore. :2cents:
