Had the Dwarf Quest Pack ever made it to shelves, I think there would've been some sort of Pick Axe artifact that could remove falling block traps...

But I really don't know what they would've done for a Female Dwarf...

I have recently introduced Dwarf Miner henchmen with pickaxes that can do just that, and bash through walls. They roll 3 combat dice and must roll all 3 skulls. They can try it anywhere, but if there is solid rock on the other side they just take a big chunk out the rock face. As our games penalize time wasting with Evil Wizard cards, they can't just spend all day bashing away at walls.

Probably just what they did for the Female Elf and Barbarian i.e. no difference at all apart from their gender title. HQ was obviously years ahead of it's time! :|

So would you allow them to bust into an adjacent room (I guess using the broken wall tile from WoM?

Yeah, but I meant was, what would the Female Dwarf look like? Do they have beards? Lol

WoW had female dwarves. I used to have a dwarf priest for the fear ward racial. She was stout and heavy set and tough. That was the time of my life when I made all my characters female (mostly because the male characters had way less effort put into them for customization).

I remember now that we have actually played a Female Dwarf character. Vistra, from one of the D&D boardgames e.g. Castle Ravenloft.

Edit: what I'm asking is if the elf could have jumped back to the spot he started...he crossed over the barbarian to get through the door, triggers the trap, and can't jump back to the side with the barbarian because he (the barbarian) is in front of the door. So the elf only has the choice of the three spaces around the pit trap on the trap side of the door.

I would say the Elf.could have jumped back the way he came.

the Instruction Booklet, Springing A Falling Block Trap wrote:▪︎ You must now make a decision. You can either move ahead or move back to an empty space.. . .

▪︎ Move to the space.you have decided upon. This ends your turn.

Upon triggering a falling block trap, the movement immediately following is compulsory; "must now make a decision" and "can either move" define this special case. This compulsory movement doesn’t involve remaining movement, but instead gets the Hero placed ahead or back from the block. An empty space needn't be adjacent to the trap, rather it merely needs to be empty. The next space back through the Barbarian fits this description.
