Exactly. If you'll refer to my gold piece assessment from above, the value of Borin's Armor, if treated as plate mail, would be worth 50% as much as all prior gains.

Minor confusion on Borin's Armor

I understand that it's Plate Mail that doesn't slow you down; but you are allowed a helmet with Plate Mail, yet Borin's Armor clearly has a picture of armor with a helmet; can you not wear the helmet from the Armory with Borin's armor?

The Helmet is not mentioned in the Artifact text and hence, not part of the armour in a functional sense. As such, you can use a Helmet in addition to Borin's Armour.

I think it's just artistic interpretation... the helmet is unrelated to the armour itself.

As in, yes you can wear a helmet from the armoury.
