What Weapon Do Monsters Use?

Mine have 5 Defend, by the way... 1 base + 3 plate +1 helmet.

Well, I could always argue that Zargon didn't bother rolling the fourth defend die because after the third skull, the Chaos Warrior was dead. Of course I'd be lying, but it's defensible.

It was worth it just to get a Gargoyle out of ya. One mistake from a knowlegeble member I was going to let go, but the repeat was too much for me to pass up. Kinda ironic your restraint egged me on. Guess it's 'cause I'm Murican.

I actually schooled myself on this one, as I double-checked my files for the Chaos Warrior's stats to be sure I was accurate in my ribbing. I just noticed the EU Chaos Warrior uses 3 Attack Dice, not 4 as with the Battle Axe equipment card. Now I know where the Fimir's 3 Attack Dice battle axe comes from--it's the default for monsters. And I thought I was an HQ geek. Come to think of it, double-checking card files is pretty darn geeky.

Unless stated otherwise in the Quest Notes I go with the miniature:

Goblin = hand ax or shortsword

Orc = cleaver, broadsword, or flail

Fimir = Battle Axe (Combat Card says they can use their club tail sometimes too!)

Skeleton = Scythe

Zombie = Ax (long handled cleaver)

Mummy = bare hands (and rarely, the infamous wadded up bunch of smelly bandages to the face attack, j/k)

Gargoyle = Sword and Whip (as a single attack, obviously)

Ogres = Club with spike through it, Mace, Ax, gauntlet spike

Since the bigger monsters are stronger than your average human and maybe the smaller monsters are a bit weaker, I don't see a problem with the stats not being exact as the Hero's equivalent.
