HeroQuest wall chart

Postby drathe » July 12th, 2011, 5:22 pm

I'm hoping to add this to my collection one day. It's the first I've seen and just sold on eBay for £35. Too rich for my blood. Com'on lottery!

Top pic is the front, bottom left pic is the reverse side. Other pics were just the two sides of the advert also included in the auction.

Cool, they call the chaos sorcerer Morcar. We call morcar from the gamescreen Evil Santa.

I'm guessing that morcar on the big chart is drawn, because I see differences that aren't on either of my models - and one of them came from Jolly Olde Englund!

Ah yeah, he's on the hero cards isn't he, so it has to be mentor, because he's talking to each hero.

But on the game screen the composition suggests that he's commanding the forces of chaos.

I'm confused now.

Maybe he has some sort of multiple personality disorder and Mentor and Morcar are in fact one in the same. Might also explain the crazy dual-bordered frame around his picture on the European character cards. That's probably why his image was removed from the American character cards as it causes confusion.

Now that wall chart's something I've never seen.
I guess I'll never be able to get all the original stuff.
Cheers

I have no idea where that chart comes from. It's not included in the Advanced Quest edition as far as I'm aware. It appears more like an advert for the Advanced Quest edition.
