They've made some little fixes in 2.2:

Sir Ragnar's movement (click on his profile) shows "1 red dice" (matches the questbook) instead of "2 squares".

Similarly, the Bard's profile says his starting weapon is the "Rapier" (matches card) rather than "Dagger." Though it still doesn't mention the fact that the weapon can hit adjacent, not just diagonal.

Passing through monsters works again... Dust of Disappearance, Veil of Mist Spell, Rogue's Combat Mobility and Cloak of Shadows artifact work properly again.

Fallen Block traps inexplicably can't be bypassed in any way... and Elven Cloak of Passage doesn't let you pass through blocked squares (while Pass Through Rock spell/scroll does... they should be the same).

They need to program a way of ending the quest without having to painstakingly trudge every character back to the start.

Other than making the title of the quest turn red, it's called exiting/closing the app. They still end the quest the instant Sir Ragnar hits the stairs. But whatever the App is doing doesn't mean you have to clear off the board, you can keep playing (just without "knowing" where any undiscovered monsters might be.. not applicable in this quest, and having to manually control them).

Sorry I wasn't clear.
I didn't mean this particular Quest, I mean all of them.
When the Quest goal is complete, you have to walk every hero back to the start square, and every man at arms in FH.
It's very long winded.
I understand what you mean though, on most of them all you're achieving is just to make the quest title turn red to say it's completed.
As the app doesn't make you finish them in order, I suppose it's not important not to mark as complete.

You can manually mark the completed/uncompleted quests clicking the checkbox near them

I was gonna say, try the Ring of Return when your party is together (doesn't always help if the goal isn't to get back to the Spiral Staircase, but still).

Yeah that's a good idea as well Kurgan, thanks.
The issue does normally show when you all have to return to start, because if it isn't, some of the party will be where they need to be anyway, in the final room.

Also AH's suggestion: when no monsters are on the board, you can make your full (unthreatened) movement. So they're saying 4 squares per red die you would normally use for movement.

For us it's 6 (so 2d6 means 12 squares). The reason the quest doesn't end instantly is supposed to be to let you loot the rest of the dungeon (and also risk wandering monsters/hazards) if you want. Victory lap for the kids. But, I get it, if you've killed everything and searched everywhere, there's nothing more to do but roll and move.

You could give a bonus to the hero who makes it out first once objective is finished!

Today I played the Forsaken Tunnels of Xor-Xel, since I couldn’t get it to work before I started KK earlier in my companion app run. With the new update, I was able to play it finally. It crashed a couple times but I was able to get through it.

I can confirm now that if you turn off the “Monsters attack weak” setting the monsters behave normally. When this option is turned on, the monsters will attack the weak, and go all out (such as running around other heroes to get to the weakest target). However it also has a bug or glitch that causes the monsters to only approach and attack if a hero is within their range, otherwise they will just stand there. This makes the various conga line of death quests much easier then they should be. Turning this option off (which is also the default setting) causes the monsters to run at you even if they can’t reach you. They will also attack the closest hero. If its an equal distance to attack two heroes, they go after the “stronger” one.

A change I noticed from the previous version is when the “Advanced Skeletons” option is enabled, Skeletons that appear as a result of a Wandering Monster card will now attack the searcher diagonally when they appear. Previously if a Skeleton appeared this way, they would only attack adjacently, then attack diagonally on Zargon’s turn. This made this quest more annoying because hiding a hero in the corner doesn’t work as well as it used to.

Some weird things I noticed could be related to the darkness rules of the quest, or from the new version, but I’m not sure. At one point a Skeleton attacked my Wizard through a wall. He was either a REALLY advanced skeleton or it was an error. The couple times the app froze, was when unseen monsters were attempting to move out of the darkness. This happened once in a room, and once when The Thing that Lurks Below (or whatever its called) was attempting to move.
