I'm going to attempt to do the Frozen Horror with the Druid, Warlock and Bard Hero's with Barbarian, just to see how good or bad they are!!!

They're not too bad. I ran them and the Knight through the base quests and they survived just fine. Though it was with the companion app and the monster AI isn't refined.

If you're running brand new heroes, consider handing out a free tool kit since you won't have a dwarf in the party. And maybe some of the artifacts like the Wizard's Cloak or the Orc's Bane.

The Warlock's ranged wand is really good before anyone gets a crossbow. And it's nice to have the Bard's diagonal rapier before anyone gets a longsword. Also their healing spells heal up to 14 BP if you can take advantage of Healing Song's multiheal nature. The elemental spells could only heal 8 BP. Also, you will have 2 less starting BP than with a standard party.

I think they're pretty well-designed, so hopefully you don't have too many problems.

I had planned to try them all WITH the Dwarf as their fourth member!
As thier trainer/backup as such!
For me, he is the best Hero!!!!

v.1.51 is out today, apparently with some updates and bug fixes. Haven't tested it yet.

If anyone has a fast enough PC, Bluestacks does run the app (you have to look it up on the google play store then update there, then launch it to take advantage of the update).

Still no Rogar's Hall, Knight, etc.

I don’t like Dwarves in general, but in HeroQuest he is great and one of the must-have heroes of the original four. The Dwarf, Elf, Druid, and Bard would be a pretty awesome party.

I would really like for Hasbro to release a mobile version of the game, based on the companion app, so I could play little by little on breaks at work to try out different party combinations. It might interfere with sales of the physical game though, so they probably won’t do it.

Yes, I think it would have a severe impact on sales of the game, especially in this computer based gaming era we live in!

I'd love to see the app expanded with a custom quest creator tool. Release that on mobile, and I know what would happen to all my free moments at work! ;)

Yes, that is a great idea! Being able to design quests you can play yourself!
They could even work in a function that lets the program randomly place the monsters in the map, so you wouldn't know where they will be.
Keep the map the same, and features, just alter the monster locations!

Ooh! Being able to randomize monster locations would be brilliant for replaying unfinished quests, too.

Is there a way to download the app on an android smartphone if you live in Greece? It says it's not available in my area and vpn also will not work since I don't have a us google account.
