The Guardian Knight pack is not a limited and or exclusive expansion. Currently Game Stop had exclusive first rights to sell it. (Hero Quest Promotion that also helps Game Stop)
So some people have started receiving it from them, but it IS showing up as a Pre Order now thru several other outlets. This also happened to be a good way for Hasbro to determine
if people would be interested in small expansions such as this. And I d say it was a success, so not only will we see more of it, but we will likely see other packs like it.

Very helpful. Surprised that the shield design is a kind of "photo negative" relief of the lion shield.

Good to see that "Skill" cards are now canon (I used them in homebrew for years).

"Armor does not restrict your movement speed"...

If taken literally then he (or she) can wear Plate and move normally (even stronger than my homebrew Paladin who got a +1 when wearing plate, but also Borin's Armor).

A very powerful character. Here and I was going to use them as Mercs (still plan to).

The Dwarf hero trades 1 extra MP and the ability to disarm traps easier than anyone else for free for the armor bonus and the three skill cards.

Quite cool also the knights' introductory card, but again no detailed rules are described about how these new characters may be introduced in the game. I guess they can replace any other Hero but no official explanation is included anywhere, isn't it? Could those knights be added to the Heroes party without replacing another hero?

About the armour special ability of these knights, I think is a strong one in case they wear plate mail. Borin's Armour is now too less valued in my opinion.
