My BBTS order arrived yesterday in perfect condition. Really well packaged. I hadn't realized the box was so tiny. Cute, even.

I was starting to get scared. Got a notification 3 weeks ago that they had taken payment, then nothing. The tracking number they sent me didn't even work. I thought that I wasn't going to get it. But it finally arrived today!

It's a pretty nice little package. That seems to be what most of the cost is for though. Pretty expensive if you ask me for two duplicate mini's and 6 cards, duplicated for a total of 12. Would have been really cool if they had created a few quests to go along with them.

Thanks for reporting in! Yes, it seems the Knight followed the same framework as the Mythic heroes... just meant as optional stand-ins for the other heroes (though as mentioned before, really only the Orc Bard was ever actually inserted into anything in the books).

Since it was an exclusive, most HeroQuest Players will never own this version of the character, and so players are left to design their own quests for them... or (as I would have done) use them as mercenaries for the regular heroes in any other quests.

Mine arrived safe and sound two days ago while I was at work. No damage. After sitting in the FedEx warehouse for the first four days *after* it supposedly shipped on March 25th, my expected arrival date of March 31st came and went. They gave me an updated arrival date of, *surprise*, four days later (yesterday). But it arrived a day early (of the new estimate anyway).

Now I can quit stressing over it, and hopefully add a Knight to a game session soon.

I can't resist, so I'm going to say it here anyway...

When the Knight arrives, I'm going to take it out of the box... put the Bard in its place and mail it back to Hasbro.

I wouldn't really do that, would I? ;) #BardShade

I agree the knight seems offbalanced. One “balancing” aspect Ive been using for the dwarf. Is they automatically detect adjacent traps when ever they finish their move. This provides a unique ability that adds real value (being the only player potentially able to detect traps while in combat) while synergizing with what they already have, which is marginal at best and easily replicated by everyone else for some coin.

Im thinking with the knight Ill just reduce the body point by one, bringing them in line with the elf.

If I made any change I'd say he gets +1 (or +2) extra square of movement when wearing Plate Armor (rather than having zero movement penalty when wearing it). So 1d6+1 (or 1d6+2 after completing enough quests).

I managed to snag a copy of the guardian knights set from BBTS myself. After reading Hasbro's response letter, I gave up on the idea of acquiring a set of my own.

For then hell of it, I searched one last time in case other vendors also got more in stock for some reason. I happened to see BBTS and checked out the website.

I know BBTS was sold out before, but this time I saw they had at least one available. I can only assume someone canceled a preorder and I managed to buy it right away. I expected it to be a mistake, and that my order to be canceled promptly.

It did get delivered though. I haven't actually seen it yet since I sent it to my mom's house, and I haven't been there since it arrived, so I'm not 100% sure it is not some trick yet.

It sucks I had to pay $30 for it, but it's better than $300.
