Another good find, HZ! I'll have to update the unboxing page later (and that's going on your Errata too I imagine!).

Clearly my skimming skills were not up to snuff, I saw "Alchemist Shop" and skipped right by not noticing those differences sandwiched in between.
Double checked COPD & SQT and they are the same as KK/ROTWL.

Potion of Magic (new graphic)
When consumed this potion allows a spell castor to regain three of the spells they have already cast on a quest.
400 gold coins

Potion of Healing
This sweet-smelling potion liquid restores up to 2 lost body points when consumed.

200 gold coins

(Battle and Restoration are the same as KK/ROTWL).

For me is the best questpack! It doesn't use any other pieces from the expansion.
The plot is good. The quests are simple but have some good variations of rules or special situations like the stairway quest or the arena. You can feel friendship is useful to soothe the "bearerer".
What I didn't like is the Goblin (???) ally (too strong also) which I dodn't understand why it should serve the Empire Realm and the Rod of Telekinesis, which is nothing else than an extra Sleep spell but with the shape of a rod; they sayd it shocks the enemy but the effects and the rules are from Sleep. Also it deserved a better cover, that Wizard should be Melar wearing the Talisman, it looks too much as an Elf wearing an armour or a manga character.
I am translating it already so my Italian community can also read it.

Ditto. This is the best of the three new Quest Books by far. This is the only one that has the actual HeroQuest vibe for me. But goblin and orc good guys or allies are stupid (really looking at you Teos) and cover art was a big reason why the original HQ was so iconic, but the "homage" art re-depicting the masterpieces originally done Les Edwards on the game system, KK, and ROTWL are just ok at best. the cover for TCoPD is cool, heck even the elf chick on SQT is cool but I don't care for the good guy Warcraft orc ghosts with surfer hair or goat-tees depicted, and who is that supposed to be on the cover of PoT? Melar? Telor? Random elf wizard weirdo?

This (or more specifically, the fact that Stephen Baker is involved in the new editions) is what convinced us this wouldn't become another HeroQuest 25th Anniversary situation. My brother was excited, but he kept some skepticism because of that situation, but then he saw Stephen Baker's name, and that was what convinced him "yeah, this is legit." We haven't delved deep into this yet, but I do not regret backing. But we know this will be fun when we get to it.

They're being scalped on ebay for a tidy sum. If I were you I'd wait to see what other releases might come out, or if you can hook up with someone else's game that has Mythic tier.
