Here is another Italian MB mini catalogue, probably from 1991 according to its reference number. This type of catalogues were included at such time inside the MB boardgames boxes with promotional purposes.

Well, I think there will not be any problem on sharing them here... the person who shared these pictures said that he got the Brazilian game box during Christmas ‘93, and it came with a free poster offer, who was sent to him in the envelope shown by Estrela, the Brazilian local manufacturer of the game.






The person who posted them also said that this is the meaning of the letter text:

Just to inform you that I have cleaned a bit this thread. I was not comfortable about how it was organized so I finally decided to delete all the posts with the list updates. Now I will only update the list in the first post with the new additions to the thread, following the same criterion as in the errata list thread.

Hi, here is a new one-page advertisement about Hero Quest's Swedish Edition. This advertisement page was included in 1992's Agent X9 Comic Series issue 13, Sweden Edition.

The original comic was all printed in Black & White, but the two faces of the covers were printed in colour. The advertisement was located in the inner face of the back cover.

In my opinion, this advert is important for two reasons:

- First, it is the only one advert I have ever seen about the Swedish Edition products of HeroQuest.

- And second, if you check the advert, it remembers to the leaflets we already know for the editions in other languages, threfore, what if this leaflet also existed apart, in an independent paper like in other languages? Please, don't hesitate to share pictures of it if you own one!! If existed, I would like to know what would show in the back face, Swedish Space Crusade? Who knows.

You can see in the attached scan that the picture borders look a bit cropped, but it was not my failure, the white border you can see there also existed in the original (in other words, the crop of the advert was already performed by the comic editor in 1992).

I am glad to share with you some scans of two more Italian MB catalogues.

The first file are two pages extracted from 1990's MB games Italian catalogue, booklet DIN-A5 format (32 pages in total). They show the catalogue cover and HeroQuest boardgame avert, which includes and interesting note calling about next two expansions were going to be released in February 1991 (I guess the Italian versions of Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord):

And the second file are eight pages extracted from 1993's MB/Hasbro games & Toys Italian catalogue, booklet DIN-A5 format (128 pages in total). They show the catalogue cover (outer and inner) and adverts about HeroQuest, Battle Masters and Space Crusade (StarQuest) boardgames, also showing all their available expansions at the time, except Wizards of Morcar. It is quite interesting to see hte stamp of "Game of the Year 1991" shown in the HeroQuest advert page (I ask myself why it was not declared the Game of the Year one year before, in 1990, just after being released for the first time?):

Hi, another Italian one-page advertisement, probably from a magazine, about new incoming KK and ROTWL expansions for HeroQuest board game.

This advert is very similar in format to the one I already posted here (maybe the other advert was the other face of this flyer paper, but not confirmed), and it says "available in March" so I think we could guess that 1991 was the year when these two advertisements were probably published in Italy. Edited, se below: This is not a magazine advert, it was a 4-page leaflet.

Edited on 2023/Ago/20: Nevermind... this document was part of a 4-page leaflet, not a magazine advertisement. Full version of the correct file has been already uploaded in this post. Incomplete old files in this post and this old one have been deleted.

Another important original document in HeroQuest history, which I -suprisingly- couldn't find anywhere on Internet... the well known Stephen Baker's interview published by Andrea Angiolino on May 1998. It was included inside issue 55 of Italian Kaos Magazine.

Here you can find a scan I have made of the pages extracted from such document. You may also find there some the previous pages to the intervew, with an interesting article by Gioacchino Prestigiacomo about some StarQuest (Space Crusade) extra addons.
