It's quite interesting but I don't care too much about these kind of documents. I am only interested in game components.

And also Inn's member Laserschwert reported in this post that there are at least another two 2-page posters of the Hero Quest's Les Edwards main artwork, without the 'HeroQuest' logo.

One of these posters was included inside a some kind of magazine and it is this one (image added through its external link):

- Hero Quest Magazine Poster artwork by Les Edwards.

And the other one was part of 'Blood & Iron' Artwork book of Les Edwards, and it is this one (image added through its external link):

Hi, another Spanish MB mini catalogue, probably from 1992-1993 since I think it is the first one of this kind that finaly shows the 1992's 'Edición Renovada y Ampliada' of Hero Quest (Hero Quest Spanish Advanced Quest Edition). This type of catalogues were included at such time inside the MB boardgames boxes with promotional purposes.

- MB Mini Catalogue Spain 3 (Spanish).
MB_Catalogue_Spain_3_[SPA]_LR.pdf

In this case, only the Hero Quest Advanced Quest box was shown in the catalogue.

Here is the extracted picture. It has been always for me quite dissapointing to see that MB released this supposedly 'Updated and Expanded' version of the original Hero Quest and unfortunately they did not take the opportunity to correct all those blatant errata of the Spanish HeroQuest such as calling the Elf as 'El Troll' and the other all known infamous errata (it can be checked in the picture that they neither corrected it for this 'new' version). Moreover, they did not changed anything of the rulebook texts, only some clarifications about traps in the Evil Wizard Screen and no more else. The same happened when the second edition of Spanish Hero Quest was released in 1990, several errata from previous 1989's edition were incomprehensibly kept... Well, this is also history of Hero Quest... not everything was perfect, but nevertheless this game was a huge success in Spain, even more than 30 years later.

This is the sort of stuff I didn't think I cared about, but the more I see, the more interesting the story gets, thanks!

I gotta say though that "El Troll" would make a great character name. ;) Then again I guess some people get their fantasy creatures kind of conflated... goblins, elves, trolls, sprites, etc... its only in specific works or games that they get hammered out and classified. (Luchador mask optional) :elf:

Yeah, I know most of this stuff do not include much relevant information but, I think having all together accesible here could provide some 'historical' details we did not noticed before. Remember the german MB catalogue where the ogre expansion artwork was different, who knows if there is somewhere another picture of that with better detail, for example. We never know where we could find more info from collector's point of view, of course. Anyway, I hope uknown documents could be added in the future.

Hi again, an Italian two-page magazine advertisement about MB board games, probably from 1991. Hero Quest & Space Crusade are shown. Not too relevant but here it is.

- MB Games Magazine Advertisement Italy, 2 pages (Italian).

Thanks. I downloaded a copy of it two or three years ago and I remember it was one of the best retrospectives about Hero Quest we can find. Good catch!

Previous lestodante's post also remmembered me this other four pages' review someone published in reddit here. I don't know which magazine belong those pages (maybe Fantasy Gaming?). I think they look quite cool.
