The point about this one is that all the models have been produced, just not been send out.

So if someone lays his hands on a box of those models then yes, i expect my share and i wouldn't pay again. So Whitebeard is right.

Absolutely - please keep it civil! |_P

And why on earth would or should anyone just give rare items away for free? These are not spare plastic orcs with broken weapons.
As far as I'm concerned we don't have a problem buying and selling miniatures. What he needs the money for is irrelevant.
To put things in perspective I'm currently engaged in the "Super Dungeon Explore: Production nightmare". I'm not sure it'll ever arrive. Kickstarters are risky *lemony goodness*! But hate the company, not the customer.

But setting their value is impossible. They have never been commercially released which makes them pretty rare, but how many miniatures has "leaked" out? And how big are the actual interest when their native board game doesn't exist?
I'd say put them on eBay piece meal and just let it happen. They are worth what people are gonna pay.

To be fair, nobody called anyone a thief. The items were compared in value to stolen goods, that's all.

Yep. What I said was that they are morally equivalent to stolen goods which you FOUND on the street. Not that anyone stole them, or is a thief.

My point is, if the original owner did not care about them anymore (left the hobby, worked at HQ25 and got this box instead of his last paycheck, or whatever) and you know there are others who paid and got nothing. Can you still be doing the right thing if you know this and sell them to the highest bidder? I hold myself to that standard.

It is also this guy's right to make money selling these. And he can be comforted by the fact that HQ25 was an obviously shady project (kicked out by kickstarter!!!) and those who backed it hopefully learned a lesson which will payoff with time... a lesson more cheaply learned with a hobby/toy than with a car or house! Thank you HQ25???

I too would really like to hear the story, that's why I come here. I told him what I think they should be sold for in my opinion. Story please!
Has resigned from the forum and would delete his account if he could.

I don't know how he get the stuff, but I don't see anything bad in trying to resell it.
Many Barbarians were given away to be painted (to promote the 25th game) and you can see them on youtube videos painted by different painters. It is just promo stuff, or maybe also discarded items with minor defects, I have no idea.
Maybe someone payd some money to GZ to get this stuff and gifted to Beaumains, who knows, so I will not condamn anyone here. Also they are limited piece so, if you have to "donate" them, how to chose wich baker should receive them before another one?
Anyway my suggestion is to put them on ebay on online auction starting from 0,99 usd and see how it goes, if people are interested (for sure not me) they will bid on your items. The value of an item is determined by how many people want it and how much they are ready to pay for it.
But personally I will not spend a cent on GZ stuff.
