Würfelel? |_P

Is Anderas German?

Actually, Würfel is one of the words with no distinct plural in German.
So (without joking):
kein Würfel
ein Würfel :roll3:
zwei Würfel :roll3: :roll2:
drei Würfel :roll1: :roll3: :roll6:
Have a look ;)

Yes - Anderas is a German who lives in France with his Colombian wife. My daughter is born in France, so she is french. :D (actually she might decide at her 14'th birthday if she wants to live with a german or with a french passport - however, the frenchies do their best to imprint their culture on her.)

In german it's for example "interessant". I know exactly it is written "interessant", nevertheless, i always write "interissant" if i don't take exceptional care with this word. Don't ask me why, it is imprinted in my writing genes or something like that.

By the way, i just received my colored dices. I felt like a kid :)

So where exactly did the alternate dice-types come from? Are there expansions that introduced them?
Or did lots of people happen to come up with similar house rules down to the color-coding?? If so, that's pretty amazing...

It all started about seven and a half years ago with a member of Old Scratch's forum named Flint. He started a thread detailing the use of a couple different colors of dice he had made. Other people posted their interest in the dice, Flint sold a few sets, and the whole thing took off from there.

Ah! Thank you! I was wondering... I downloaded Slev's great ruleset but was a bit confused by his talk of multi-colored dice. Feel like I'm finally catching up a bit! I may have to buy a set of these dice... looks like lots of fun to beef up the game a bit!

I have 20 of the "German" dice. They are of fantastic quality and are impact/scratch resistant, but for some reason, the results arent the same as the old wooden HQ dice. We get way more shields than skulls when comparing the two sets. But they work. Now these Shapeways look pretty cool and I think I might pick up some and try them out.
