I talked to Mr. Jack Ellerbrock at http://www.shopping-guru.de about 6 months ago and I was trying to work a deal where I could purchase a huge order of around 1,000 HeroQuest dice but I'm kind of worried about recouping my investment. Those things arent cheap even if he decided to come down a few bucks per set, that would still be a huge chunk of change. I havent decided if I would sell on ebay or not but I really dont want to sell there. I really wasnt trying to make a huge profit, I just want to make HQ dice available here in the States.

What do you guys think?

Honestly, I think those dice destroy - or at least, distort - one of the main aspects of the game.
THE GAME PROP: The Combat Die.
I refuse to use the colored ones, but that's me.

I have them, and will post a review of them soon. On tablet now, typing sucks :-p
They are bigger and not engraved but printed upon. Plus inverse colours. White symbols.

I would like Game Science dice with the symbols actually etched into the surfaces of the dice. They release significantly less energy when they strike the tabletop, which is perfect for a game where you don't want dice flying everywhere.

I retired my old wooden dice and purchased 4 sets of 6 dice from Jack. Yes, they are bigger than the originals but for us its like using TSR dice for D&D. They roll pretty good too. I like Jack's dice and will continue to buy more. Zargon uses a black set and the players use the white sets.

In the pic below, the yellow die is an original TSR die that came with a boxed set I bought back around 1988 or so. Jack's die is slightly smaller than the TSR die.

Why does it always have to be about color?

I was making a joke about how sophomoric labeling things "black" or "white," regarding the subject of race; taken out of context, is. Forums are known for bellicose sophists. Get it?

Also, those dice are way nicer than the replica dice I bought.
