Dungeons and Dragons, the fantasy adventure boardgame.
I recently posted in two of the expansion topics. Tiles can all be found in our gallery. ;)

Look at them! Look at them and laugh!

The one thing stopping me from buying the German dice (besides being kinda expensive) is the fact that they are plastic. The original wooden dice has a much better sound rolling on the table.

Agreed. While I was at Michaels I was checking out their wooden products. I dont think it would be overly complicated to produce your own wooden dice. With the proper tools and paint, it could be done. I almost bought some but thought it would be above of my skill level.

It would be cool to be able to buy wooden dice replacements for a better price, but alas, the skill level/required effort is probably beyond all of us. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, of course.

This proves it can be done. These dice I made roll semi-well, and I have little talent for making
things like this. Anyone with a little bit of skill should be able to knock out a set of dice in less than
an hour...a lot less. Then you would need a way to paint them all the same. I'm sure an stamp of some
sort could be thrown together.
