Such a thing could be brutal.
Ever play first and second edition Vampire the Masquerade? Some of the ideas presented in those game books would provide a wealth of ideas...

I doubt a party of well geared heroes could go against a Vampire without some mercs to soak up a lot of the damage along the way.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Minimum 5 quests, probably 10 though.

Nice. Could even do it in a castle setting rather than a dungeon.

Oh indeed. That's the general idea.
Haunted castle and surrounding areas, particularly a swampy forest.
Gonna be awesome.

I uploaded a new quest pack to my dropbox just now, Eternal Kingdom.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9dpeox62ejor91s/AABL_3JGEhvYxVSoyax3mwuKa?dl=0
I made use of forest and swamps.
Feel free to use any ideas you want.

Movement rules in terrain will be added to my Morcar Compendium, but here's some general ideas:
Trees in white spaces can be moved through on the *stanky orchid* of 3 squares each.
Trees in gray squares can be moved through only by mentioned monsters (giant spiders and such).
gray squares in swamps can be moved through by mentioned monsters and monsters as long as they end their move on a white square.
Line of sight in swamps is limited to the 12 squares around you (2 squares away orthogonally, 1 diagonally), searching is limited to that area.

Cool stuff. I'll give those a looksee soon.
I'm using some HeroQuest Templates like HeroScribe stuff and other blank templates I've found on here to try to make some maps.
My friend is spending the weekend at my place. Offered to help. He loves designing campaigns.

Indeed. I've finally got some friends that can play on a regular basis.
And I'm drafting up maps.
Using the castle and forest boards from DragonStrike to set it all up.

I first played the game in elementary school.
Then again in college.
Now I'm an adult and finally getting to play this game semi regularly.
Yeesh.
