Show us what you end up planning. I find the plastic figures much easier to modify. A modelling knife will cut white metal but it takes longer and more care.

I find green stuff very tricky to work with because it is so sticky. It is very difficulty to leave it exactly where you want it. Filling gaps an holes works well, blending a head or weapon swap. And I have found that fur is very easy to mold with just an exact-o knife. Hair is not to bad, and the stickiness will really help you pull it into sharp points.

Will you be painting this then?

I'll keep you posted.
I've partially painted a few minis. I'm not all that good at it. Plus I don't have all the proper stuff: finishes/fixants, a giant magnifying glass, tiny paint brushes, etc.
BUT, I've got a couple friends that do model painting and sculpting. And my cousin is great at making the cards and tiles and stuff.

example of my limited painting abilities:

Use metal tools and keep them wet. Literally dip them in water every 15 seconds - well, depending on what you are working on.

Oh that's good to know. When I get around to buying supplies, I'll definitely remember that.

Don't buy LIQUID Green Stuff!
It's not for that purpose.
You're looking for Green Stuff, which consists of a yellow and a blue stripe of putty
that are cut in a suitable amount and then intermingled with wet fingers and brute force until green.
Brands do not play a role. The cheaper you find something with the search words "Green Stuff", the better.

Yes, I have used progressively more water every time I do it. And like you say, I'm at about 15 seconds for dipping the tool. The stickiness will work in his favor here I think, pulling hair out and up from a glob on the back of the head. :D

A quest pack revolving around a vampire hunt would be really cool. Are you doing a full on quest pack or just a few quests?
