Wondering if anyone knows if there's a pdf floating around of any alternate HQ boards or HQ compatible boards. I found this one on ebay I have never seen before... it looks like it would be a lot of fun.

looks like a custom made board printed and glued to some cardboard. HQ only has one official board.
There are plenty of alternate fanmade boards though, check the gallery. There's a cool egyptian themed board, amongst others. Plus I like to use the dragon strike boards for HQ as well.

I think I like the Egyptian themed one the most so far. Attention to detail in that one trumps the others in my opinion.

The different themes are really great. But for custom boards or the separated tiles (like AHQ) is not a good idea. With HQs board you can design almost every dungeon you can imagine, for the minimum dungeons you can’t design, you can use extra tiles like those from the expansions. Of course I am talking about boards for dungeons not towns, etc.

Usually the creator is credited in the title. The Egyptian one says it was created by Iwanhoa, for example. Sjeng is an avid collector of downloadable tiles and artwork, as are others on the board. Sjeng is also probably the most active contributor on the board, be it a scan of a file or something of his own making.
