Oh thanks for posting these nice pictures! They look very cool, all of them.
Are the Skaven in metal or plastic? Ilike the one in the centre.
Are some of the furnitures 3D printed instead?
I really like the 4 evil Wizards, especially the Necromancer and the Storm Master. And cool to see you also have that female sorceress, I've seen her on ebay and was curious to check better for size comparison.
What RED did you use for the first Chaos Warrior? It is so vibrant!!!
Oh ... and the mug is the final touch up!! |_P

Thanks. The one in the middle is metal, the other two are plastic. I have a bunch more 90's Skaven I'm getting painted up for Advanced Heroquest

Yeah some are 3D printed in resin, some are scratch build using plasticard. I'm most proud of the LED lighting in the fireplace. :D

I thought the Storm Master was the worst of them! He's boring to look at to me, I'm glad you like him. :D

I think it is Army Painter Pure Red. And yeah the mug I love |_P

Beautiful work all round. Amazing to see it all together, as you have used bright vibrant colours to bring this game to life.
The furniture is fantastic too. I might have a go at your fireplace, so if you have time to post a detail or two how you did it...

I was surprised to see two great figures that I’ve never seen before. The orc boss with the two-handed axe and the female chaos sorcerer; a real babe I thought until I zoomed in and saw her face

Thanks guys.

Don't worry, it's just a mask ;) The female sorcerer comes with an alternative head, finally settling the old question "is that his face or his helmet?" :D The orc bosss I found on eBay, but it is a new sculpt. Someone out there is making a whole range of old style orcs and goblins. I've bought a few.

The fireplace was 3D printed in resin. I found a desgin on Thingiverse which I remixed to make it closer to the Heroquest orginal. I put in a flickering tealight LED. I had to mount the battery pack on the back and weight the base. I wanted to put the battery in the base but it was just a bit too big. The battery pack is flat though and is camo painted so it looks good :D

Thanks <blush>

I really like what you have done with yours too. I'm only recently realising how rare fully painted sets are. I dobut there is even 100 in the whole world.

Wow! This is epic! I love the colorstyle, the furniture, the detail, everything. So amazed how one can paint like this. The paintjob looks so awesome it looks unreal (in a good way)!

Just took a look at the entire set. So beautiful! That reminds me, I still need a couple zombies and some chaos warriors to finish mine. :-)
