Kapten Kelz, as much as I understand, uses photos to make the 3D models, so I sent him photos of the ogre bosses (from all angles of view, around 100 pictures). We'll see how these will work. You can do the same for the wizards and men at arms, if you like. And the furniture...
I could do the same, but not before monday, and then probably only one or two figures until the next monday, so if you are willing to help out, I'm more than happy with that.
Also, Kelz doesn't seem to visit the Inn too often, so perhaps you should contact him via his Wordpress page.
Have a look ;)

I can do the furniture for the base game definitely cause thats all I have but I'm thinking of getting some other miniatures from other board games that will fit in hero quest and mabye ill see if he can do those as well. Cause there's several that make good additions as the special monsters and villains in some quests.

WoM and Mercenaries haven't been added, sadly. Maybe someone will undertake a 3D scan project again someday. I gotta hope better resolution would be possible.

I wonder if Hasbro would be willing to allow scans of the unreleased Wizard and Dwarf Quest Pack figures. Dream, dream, dream.

3D print sample

Postby phoenixcinder » March 24th, 2018, 1:31 pm

[This and the following 15 posts were merged from General HeroQuest Discussion on 4/19/18. -edit]

If anyone is curious how the 3d prints of the miniatures look my friend sent me a photo of the first batch they made for me, a bunch of Ogre Warriors. I'll be able to make much clearer pics of them once they are in my possession. I have them printing off a slew of miniatures I have found 3d print files for.

Would you be able to share the 3D files? I have a printer and would love to try them out.
