A talented guy at DakkaDakka converted his Dwarven Kings from Hero Quest Skeletons, spare axes, shields, and greenstuff: The bonus is the bases already match.

The Dungeon Saga game comes with three skeletal dwarves. Two are Dwarf Revenants and one is a Dwarf King: http://www.manticgames.com/mantic-shop/ ... quest.html

I highly recommend the game as a purchase. It comes with plenty of good tiles for custom requests and some good figures for use in Heroquest. The scale is only slightly off.

I really like those.
I plan on modding a few up as well but with green stuff beards.

Saiyaforthelight wrote:The Dwarf Revenant miniatures from Dungeon Saga by Mantic Games are perfect for this too, although you only get two with the base game, or one with the expansion or miniature booster sets. The Undead Troll is quite cool too, as is the ghost.

If it wasn't for the cost/number of miniatures you get in a box, I'd highly recommend using Mantic's models. The only downside is spears/swords/bows/any sort of thin piece of plastic can very easily warp and bend when left in the box with other minis twisting it. Some minis may need special care when packed away, as oppose to being tossed into a sandwich bag in the box.
It is also worth mentioning all Dungeon Saga mini's bases are compatible with Hero Quest in terms of size- but the base tile itself does have a cobblestone design. Might bother some.
if I recall correctly, they had an excellent set of minis for "critters" - rats, spiders, and a flock of bats. Is it a flock of bats, or a swarm?

Fenryll miniatures are available from Noble Knight Games in the USA. https://www.nobleknight.com/

I like that conversion using HQ skeletons. Doesn't look to hard to pull off!

Hi, I recently found this guy on eBay who sells these 3D printed models of undead dwarves. The design of these dwarves I guess is from DungeonWorks or MonsterEncounters but I am not sure since I have not found them in their websites. Maybe they are discontinued models today. Anyway, I have one miniature of each and I think they match really well as Kellar's Dwarven Kings, the reason I bought them.
