Just want to say how excellent your thread is! It just made me realise I've missed the teeth on my zombies...

Seeing a good quality paintjob makes you notice details you may otherwise not have seen! :-)

Two figures I just finished. A wizard from Reaper that I painted for a friend and a dwarf with a gun for my own adventures.
Guess which one is which! (sidenote: I hate metal miniatures)

Thanks!
Where the hell did I post this originally and it wound up here? I thought it was the "what are you working today" topic.
Anyway, thanks to the person who moved it!

Yeah, t'was in a silly place.

Nice paintjobs again. How on earth did you manage to paint that golden edge? Do you use a brush or a marker?

No marker, just my smallest brush. It really was a pain and it doesn't look perfect up close but from a distance it looks very nice.

Nice job, that Wizard is a dead ringer for Raistlin from the Dragonlance books.

Yeah, the guy gave me detailed requests for the colours and since I've already done a Raistlin in the past I figured it out.
Funny, I was never interested in fantasy literature and knew nothing about and now I have knowledge of what Raistlin is wearing. Oh, and another guy named Drizzt. I feel such a nerd!

Heh, I didn't know Raistlin. Gonna paint my Bones wizard the same now :D Thanks!
And obviously there will be a Drizzt too.
