You played the game? (at GenCon or at Spiel I guess?)

The game looks cool, but the guy in the demo was very bad. I was glad when he was replaced by someone who seemed to know what he was talking about.
From what I saw in the the demo clip, it seems very much like Decent with a Star Wars Paint Job. (as I have played neither you can take or leave my impressions where you would like.)

Another game I will not be getting due to having no one to play with. (Oldest child isn't yet 2 and the wife will not play anything with hit points in it.)

I’ll get the game and every expansion. No matter what. The sooner I have everything the better.

Ever since my first HQ/D&D +-25 years ago I’ve been waiting for a SW dungeoncrawler with good looking minis.

I know that the game probably won’t be played a lot the next few years (definitely not more than 10 times a year) and my 2 kids are too young now (although my son (3,5 years old) likes Star Wars…he loves my Star Wars room/mancave).

For me, this is not only a game but also (maybe even more) a collectible. It combines something I love for over 30 years and a boardgame type I love for 25 years. If I don’t get this game I’ll regret it.

Someday I will have the storage space to store games that I don't get to play. And after that I will have the income to fill said space.
And then I'll take over the WORLD!!!!

Er... I mean... I have to go.

How is it? I had to choose between Descent and Legend of Drizzt for a new dungeon crawler last year and I think I may have picked the wrong one given how people seem to be raving about Descent now (where were all these people back then?!). If this is just a reskinned Descent then that would be great, since then I'll know what i missed out on and it has some awesome models. Expensive though - how much cheaper would it be without the giant AT-ST model?

They say it's Descent 2.5, smoothed out some flaws, and reskinned. There's plenty of good reviews at BGG.

Best boardgame ever.
Period.
Fantastic design, great rules......after 25 years I don't think HQ is the best game ever. Imperial Assault blows HQ and every other game away.
