Mongoose Publishing had the license to produce stuff but they failed to deliver and a number of people were screwed over. I think the KS model is potentially a far better way to deliver this. Over the years I've seen Joe get screwed over with stuff, I really hope this goes well. I think I'll go for Warman level as the additional maps (at least I'm almost sure) will be the ones that are already in production and I'm not so narcissistic that I want Kai Master level hahaha

However, I have just read;

Cubicle Seven Entertainment Ltd.

I'm clearly on top of these things hahaha I'll have to get in touch with someone as the misses had paid for the 4th set earlier this year

Woohoo... backed! They've started releasing some info like character sheets but I'm not sure when we can expect to play test. It was funded within the first day and they've since hit a few stretch targets so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Nice, but damn expensive for PDF's... Printed books are also very expensive in my opinion.
And I have no idea how to play this, what the books will look like... I guess this is kind of a fans only thing :\
I wonder what they will cost retail.

Probably a whole lot less but that's the point - you're backing something, not buying something.

It probably is a fan thing. Admittedly, nostalgia is part of my desire to back however I played the previous version of the RPG (licence was revoked from people who took a lot of money but couldn't deliver) with some friends and they enjoyed it. It was more RPG in a traditional sense as opposed to straight gaming so for us it was different but good.
