i have never seen painted advanced heroquest miniatures before... i find yours wonderfull ! very great job !

Cheers! There are lots of AHQ painted minis pictures if you google them, I always look to see if someones done a colour scheme I really like.
About the bases- I had a cheap plastic craft box which was made of plastic the same thickness as HQ bases. I cut it into roughly the right sizes with a pair of sturdy scissors and sanded it square with some grade 100 sand paper. I cut the slotta tabs off the figures with a hot craft knife and stuck them to the new bases.
