[Complete] - Prepare for downtime (Server move definite)

At the end of the month, it is very likely that we will be moving to a new Web Host. If'n so, exact details will follow on any possible downtime. The Forum will be temporarily disabled (everything will be backed up to be safe) so that posts can't be added and potentially lost should they be made during the move.

Update: We are definitely moving to a new host.

As you may know (from reading the above), we will be moving to a new Web Host. The Website may be unavailable and the Forums will be temporarily disabled and backed up during transit. This could be as early as this evening EST!

Woah, not happy with the Startlogic anymore? Hey, check your email. I'll be in the neighborhood, literally and physically tomorrow. I don't know how phone calls work between US cell phones and Canadian lines. Prob some mad fees. I'll have my comp so hit me up online.

Maybe on a new server we can get a little more R rated in here.

Sorry, I'm new to the whole moving to a new website thing, so please excuse my dumb questions.

Will the url change?
Is the website going to look different?
Will you still be in charge?
Does this mean there will be more space for quests and such?

Looking forward to it. You can always hit me up from the Hotel line, or drive two minutes and knock loudly on the door. Replied to your email.

Sorry, no R rating. At least, nothing racier than what has already been posted. Any doubts, run it by Phoenix, or myself.

URL will stay the same, so no worry about changing bookmarks and finding the Website again. But if you're reading this, you already know since you're now on the new server. As I type, the rest of the Website is uploading and soon the new Name Servers will be recognised worldwide.
Everything should look the same.
The Website staff is still the same.
Not necessarily more space (at the moment), but we do have set limits, so we know how to gauge things.

Biggest changes are behind the scenes. The server we're on now is top-of-the-line. We're still on shared hosting, but the company we're with has a set limit for the number of accounts on each server, whereas most places overpopulate their servers, which slows things down. So everything should be faster.

Oh, and play-by-post is now allowed. I have confirmation from the Webhost company president that it's okay.

I know the toils of shared hosting... trust me.

But awesome on the move! It seems to have gone smoothly, from what I can tell. Good times ahead!

Also, how would a post-by-play work now?
