Really? I didn't notice that many people online yesterday. Did I miss something or is this an error.

Yeah, That is insane... it did seem like there was nothing going on yesterday . like no new posts or gallery add-ons FREAKY!! Maybe there is a huge new wave of players climbing out from , wherever all those people came from....

That includes guests and bots as well. We do at times get lots of bots/crawlers or guests on at once. Especially when there's new spambots hitting the Web. We probably had an influx of guests, bots/crawlers and spambots all at the same time. Finally beat that 51 users from back in 2010.

Perhaps the RPG Gateway Die Roller's 100 is responsible for a guest influx. The spike fairly coincided with the new vote links in our signatures here and the link Sjeng added at the blog (done April 12th). Our sudden rise in the standings may have attracted the attention of people checking out the top sites to see what the fuss was about.

And bots.

That would be nice, so all the effort hasn't gone wasted

I'm clicking my signature every time I see it now makes it so much faster and easier.
