I like it, although probably because it is the same as my system but with a big deck. :)

One issue I can see is that the elf might keep getting useless spells for the situation and will have to cast them to get something better. And then they are a bit poor anyway. At least the Wizard gets some choice and can mitigate this. Maybe spellcraft+1 should be the hand limit. I'm not sure exactly why you'd want 54 cards in the deck, 20 should be plenty unless you have a lot of magic users instead of combat players.

Please tell me I didnt read that right? You still on Windows XP GB?? You do know that Microsoft havent supported that OS since April last year and there are still plenty of holes in its security. Without support, they are easy access for the nefarious cyber types. We are trying to get all of our clients off XP systems for that reason.

Partially to make the card distribution easier, and partially as standard carts decks (for PoD, etc) are 54 cards.

Ideally needs some sort of mathamagician to have a look. I had messaged Count Mohawk, but no response from him as of yet.

Mohawk and I have been working on this spell system. It's coming together nicely. The link is remaining current if anyone wants a peek!

ANd that's the "final" update. Now to make them into cards and such, which may require some minor tweaks.

Ahh, but XP is still the last version anybody would seriousely want to work with.
After it got too dangerous, I disconnectec my Windows XP comuter from the net and went to Ubuntu for this purpose. Still use the XP machine offline for everything that requires windegg.
Have a look ;)
