The theme of your quests is great, I think. I just find it difficult to say more as long as I don't know which kind of Hero enters this dugeon. Is it a maxed standard group with one newbie?

Are you making these in Heroscribe yet?

I can run them up if you want.

I haven't been using it. I started this using paint 2-3 weeks back and kinda committed. If you'd like to clean it up in Heroscribe, that would be awesome!

Thanks! I'll give it a look!

My intent is for this set of quests to give any group (fully maxed or not) a fighting chance at AtOH and WoM played using North American rules. With that said, any gaming group is free to use them as best suits their needs.

Ok here is the 4th and final quest for The Champion's Trial. As usual critique and corrections are welcome and encouraged. Next up I'll try and spin up an introduction and epilogue within the next few days, just to make the packet complete. Let me know what you all think.

--I also added the most current versions of the earlier ones. I had missed the Wandering Monster for Rogar's Hall.

In the original series of Game System Quests, Barak Tor -- Barrow of the Witch Lord already features the recovery of the Star of the West for the Emperor as a Quest objective. Isn't it likely a group that has played through both KK and RotWL would have already recovered this artifact in their first 14 Quests?

Perhaps it can be explained that the gem in the Witch Lord's Barrow was only false bait for a trap to release the Witch Lord from his entombment. This would embellish Morcar as a devious opponent that manipulates his enemies with layers of plans. The false gem could also help explain how Morcar's forces cornered the Empire's army into Keller's Keep, as the true Star of the West wasn't part of that doomed battle.

I caught that detail after I drafted these up (it's been awhile since my original playthrough of the game). Your ideas would definitely work. I thought about drafting up an intro page to this in-which Mentor describes the Star of the North that you previously recovered as a duplicate that Rogar wore for ceremonies and that the quest would be for the True Star.

Hey JustWill, what is the piece of furniture on the north wall in the room marked with the B, with the Chaos Warriors and the Gargoyle in Quest 2 Durgins Vault?

EDIT: Okay, might leave your quests as they are. Mainly because you have more information than can fit in to the text page of the map.

But I'm going to make two artefact cards for the shield and the horn.

I'm feeling a little creative. Please hold....................
