A decade has passed since the Empire fell to Ulrik the Fiend and his god-given weapon, the Eschaton. He has ruled the land ever since, his power unchallenged thanks to his godly weapon. A small group of heroes decide the time is ripe for an assassination, if they can only forge a weapon capable of breaking the Fiend’s armor.

Recommended for experienced heroes, as there are several points where buying equipment between Quests is not allowed. Introduces the Black Dwarves of Ash Mountain, a devious new enemy faction which replaces the greenskin monsters in certain quests. Requires only the base game and 2 Stairway tiles.

Yeah a few quests got reworked and added to Daredevils to expand it, since this one was kind of weaksauce. Other quests were tweaked and added to The Changeling.

I quite liked Eschaton, especially the part about destroying the great tower. At which point I paused and thought, hmmm...I wonder. So having tracked down The Changling, it's in there! Excellent, and another quest pack to look through. Thanks.

Changeling and Arden Daredevils are much better quests and stories overall anyway. Daredevils in particular has a lot of character, forcing the heroes to serve the whims of a drunken lord.

I know this quest pack has been superseded, but in quest 5 after Ulrik has been defeated, what is in the two chests behind him?

I don't recall. Most of these quests were moved to better campaigns like The Arden Daredevils, The Changeling, or Manhunt.
