Here is an idea for you - make a second quest to go with this...
One room is filled with water - a lake. The mirror is filled with a frozen lake. Unless you're using
swimming rules, they would have to figure out that they need to go across the ice lake in order
to continue on the other side of the watery lake.

Could do the same thing with a fallen ceiling block - maybe on the mirror side, there is a tunnel
through the block, or something like that.

OH - another good one - wind blows in different directions through various rooms, strong enough that
the heroes get blown around. They have to move back and forth between the mirror worlds in order to
get "blown" to the right place.

hahaha - that would be great.

Yeah, that's bound to happen once in a while. What I haven't really figured out is what happens if a statue happens to move over/into a player. I suppose the player should take some kind of hit. When playing I kinda just avoided moving through players...

When a statue moves the hero will see it coming at him. So I think it is better to ask the player to move his miniature one square wherever he wants, or better switch their squares (move the hero to statue’s square, and statue to hero’s square).

ps: we wait for more quests in that mirror board :D

I don't know why, but it reminds me something from the well known movie...

I think it took an hour or so. Not particularly long if I remember correctly.

I've been thinking a lot about making more mirror quests, a small quest pack if you will, but the thing that is stopping me is actually the story.
Anybody have some good ideas for a story to bind ~3 mirror quests together?
And please disregard my lame story from the first quest... that can be retconned.

Well can't do the classic dopplenganger thing unless you have two sets of heros. So thats off the table. :smack:
I was putting alot of thought into it then realized that.

Are you still rolling with the Elf/Wizard 2 Player Quest route?

Conan the destroyer I think. The one with Grace Jones. It's awesome.

Doesn't have to be elf and barb. That was just what the two players I made the quest for were playing at that moment.

Doppelgangers have indeed crossed my mind. Please share your idea. At the very least perhaps it can inspire me :)

Okay, this one is on the playlist and looks interesting. Just a couple of questions:

1) What happens when a live monster moves, but its mirror statue is blocked by walls, furniture, other figures etc.?

2) what happens when a hero uses a ring and lands within a piece of furniture? This can happen in the boss room after he is killed. A hero can end up landing on the sorceror's table.
