Just got him. I'd say it has a 3x3 (circular) base but it takes up a fair bit more. You could theoretically find him in the centre room but morcar would probabaly have PETA on his back.

It's very usable in terms of scale and realistically defeatable.

Looks to be a great size for HQ. Might want to print off a larger room tile to give him some more space on the board.

i like what you did with the elf. Bow instead of a sword, real good idea. Props.

Hory clap...ya! How did you do that?
Like what did you make/where did you get the bow for the elf?

Looks like a conversion using the Dragon Strike Elf's bow.

drathe is exactly right, it's the bow from the really badly sculpted elf from Dragon Strike. I need to get a spare sword or axe to stick on him somewhere. I can't source a quiver though.

if you go on eBay and search warhammer quiver you will find many options. i would use the high elf bits more so then the goblin ones, but thats my opinion. you can also find swords and axes the same way. Happy eBidding.

Glad you ended up liking the Dragon. I just recently bought Desent I plan on posting some pics of the mini's for size refrences for you guys on here. I have to say all of the mini's in Descent would work great with HQ.

Wow, that green Dragon looks great the size seems to be about the right size (3:1). I think I am going to try to find that on E-bay. If I am able to find it I think I might try to re base the model to have the same type of square base that the Hero Quest pieces have.

RathofUn: Look up "Elder Green Dragon"

I now have mine on a 4x4 square base, I'll post a pic later. The wings still overhang and make it hard to bring attackers right up to the sides of the base. Beware, I almost cut my thumb off trying to free the model from the circular base.

This particular dragon is the same as on the cover of a d&d book, so I took the picture and put it on the front of my dragon quests book.
